Ich habe gerade die Lyrics für Song No.6 "Death Of An Airship" aka "Hindenburg" geliftet und generell einer Schönheitsoperation unterzogen, d.h. die Hälfte der Verse gestrichen und durch neue flottere ersetzt. Barum? Neun, nicht nur dass es besser klingen wird, als ich den Song vor 4 Millionen Jahren geschrieben habe, bin ich einfach von dem Bild des explodierenden Zeppelins ausgegangen, ohne mich mit solchen unnötigen Dingen wie historischer Exaktheit usw. zu belasten. So hiess es z.B. dass der Captain starb, "und gemischt mit Flammen herabfielen seine Schreie". Ähem.

Wie es aussieht, überlebt der Captain, wie die meisten Leute das Inferno und tat sich trotz schwerer Verbrennungen noch bei der Rettung der Passagiere hervor. Auch wenn die Katastrophe der LZ 129 Hindenburg als schweres Disaster (aus dem Griechischen: disaster heisst soviel wie "fallender Stern") gilt, starben doch "nur" 36 Personen (und zwei Hunde).

In den Text vorsichtig eingemischt sind nun mehr auch Zitate/Anklänge an die berühmte Reportage von Herbert Morrison, die man übrigens hier auch verbatim nachsehen kann.
